“I cannot imagine my LSAT journey without Ed When we first met I could not grasp certain concepts, I struggled with time management when answering questions, and I was ready to quit because it all felt like such an uphill battle. But then I was connected to Ed and he changed the game for me! Studying in a weird way became fun because I was watching myself improve I felt little victories every day! Ed is not only an amazing educator, he is dedicated to his clients. He tutored me all summer even while he was abroad; he worked at odd hours to accommodate me with the time difference. “I worked with Ed in preparation for the June and August LSATs during the spring/summer of 2022. For the few months that we worked together, Ed was able to help me increase my score more than 20 points from where I originally started. Ed took his time explaining the complexities of LSAT questions and how the exam makers were intentionally trying to confuse the test takers. We would then drill practice problems together and Ed would give me tips and tricks to solve problems, in a timely manner, that could help me during the exam. “Alice is the icing on the cake for a kid who is doing well, like my kids were most of the time, but she is just the most encouraging person and I know she would be great for any kid who is struggling. She was great for my kid when she struggled on the ISEE! [Competitor] did my daughter’s baseline test and basically told us there was no chance to get into the schools we were applying for. So we asked friends for Myles intros and met Alice and she got my daughter into Spence, Chapin, Fieldston, Riverdale, basically everywhere. And she’s helping her through Constructing America at Riverdale right now and I have to tell you, I’m a doctor and that class is too hard for me! But Alice is making it happen. She is worth every penny. I had to work really hard to pay her and she was worth it!”

“Alice took my son from a 21 to a 32 on the ACT, and this was a kid who went to the Professional Children's School who had a very week academic foundation, but Alice made it happen. She helped him apply to college, and was accepted at Princeton, Columbia, and UPenn. Alice is really a fairy godmother for our family she inspires the child who can't be inspired, her patience is endless. She's so loveable really, and she's brilliant! What more could you want?”

“Alice started with my daughter in junior year of high school. She had always struggled in math, and I had helped her when I could, and even hired other tutors, but she was barely hanging on to a B-. Alice was able to resolve all her questions and she started getting A's! I asked my daughter what the difference was since we had hired other tutors who didn't work out, and she said Alice is just so patient. If a problem or concept didn’t make sense the first way Alice explained it, she would find a second and third way until my daughter got it. I guess other tutors had just tried to reexplain the concept the same way and that made my daughter just feel stupid. Anyways, [daughter] got an A in junior year for the first time in math ever, and in senior year she didn’t even need Alice and got another A! I only wish we’d found her earlier.”

"Felix seems to be able to do pretty much anything…We’ll hit him with anything from geometry to 8th grade Spanish to SAT prep and he is game. Both my kids really enjoy working with him. There is never a suggestion of ‘do we haaave to do tutoring?’ They come out of sessions feeling accomplished and less anxious about whatever they brought to him. My partner and I spend a lot of time with our kids. Felix is our partner in that work and it helps the boys so much to have an outside voice echoing things.  We give Felix a lot of insight about our kids and Felix takes those insights to heart and incorporates them in his work. It’s all the things I wish my son would hear from me, but when Felix says them my son actually absorbs the message. And Felix does have excellent delivery and energy."
